The ASEAN Guidelines for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on Labour was adopted at the 24th ASEAN Labour Ministers Meeting which was convened on 15th May 2016 in Vientiane, Lao PDR. This is intended to serve as a guide for governments, enterprises and establishments, employers’ and workers’ organisations to raise awareness of labour issues among enterprises and incorporate CSR, human rights and decent work into their business practices.
The Global Child Forum on Southeast Asia was held on 5th May 2016 in Kuala Lumpur. Delegates from over 26 countries attended the event. ASEAN CSR Network was the co-organiser of the event.
A group of more than 10 delegates from Georgetown University visited ASEAN CSR Network on 26 April 2016. We shared with the delegates information about our work and the state of CSR in ASEAN.
